Sinopse:

Kyle é um misterioso e estranho adolescente que acorda um dia no meio de uma floresta, nu, em posição fetal e sem memória. E o mais instigante: ele não tem umbigo. Totalmente inocente e ignorante do mundo, Kyle se comporta como um bebê. Recolhido e levado a um orfanato, ele conhece a psicóloga Nicole Trager, que o avalia como uma criança única.
Percebendo que Kyle precisará de atenção especial e que deverá ser retirado da instituição, Nicole leva-o para casa, para desgosto dos seus filhos, Lori e Josh. Stephen, seu marido, também fica mal-humorado com o novo paciente da mulher. Rapidamente Kyle começa a fazer parte da família e a conviver com coisas do dia-a-dia, como computadores, música e uma festa na escola.
